Not room for all of these in the Photobook, or cropped too much and therefore too small to enlarge successfully for printing, they are nevertheless worth sharing.

À la Boulangerie- videoNausicaá, BoulogneAs the Cité de l'Europe shopping mall is closed on a Sunday, we headed for Boulogne after our bakery visit to visit Nausicaá, a wonderful sea-life centre near the port. Attached are some photos from this fascinating 'Eco-museum' of the sea.
À la BoulangerieSome budding and talented trainee boulangers tried their hand at making baguettes and croissants this morning. The resident Boulanger tested the children on their knowledge of ingredients- most passed with flying colours!
Le DiscoSome photos from this evening's disco for all the school groups currently staying at the shadow. Children are now in bed, ready for packing and vacating rooms tomorrow morning, before we begin the journey home.
Aux Grottes de NaoursJust back to the Château after an afternoon visit to Les Grottes de Naours. As well as the caves, there was also a windmill and a small playground to enjoy. (video filmed on iPhone 4S, edited on iMovie for iPad, filter by Movie Looks App)
La Matinée à Rue
Photos from our morning in Rue. You will notice the careful use of hoodies to protect the children from a very rare species of 'drop spider' indigenous to the trees on the avenue into the town, discovered some years ago on April 1st ;-) the spiders lay their eggs in children's hair as they descend from the trees on their gossamer threads, but the local residents use special shampoo to protect themselves! I'm pleased to say the children took this health and safety warning very seriously! (Mrs Gunn had to improvise headgear!)
Video- at the Beach, Day 1A short snapshot of our afternoon at Boulogne-Plage, building châteaux de sable. (filmed on iPhone 4S, edited on iMovie for iPad- video effects by Movie Looks App) |
